GasHound® modules and Features

GasHound® comprises of two modules:
- The detector
- The shut-off valve
GasHound® offers a high level of functionality, reliability and flexibility due to the use of highly accurate electronic components and sophisticated modular design. It can be easily installed in the kitchen or near any gas pipeline. Whenever a combustible/explosive gas or carbon monoxide leaks, an audio visual alarm is activated and the solenoid valve is actuated to shut off the supply, reducing risks of further leakage. The GasHound® monitors LPG/LNG, methane or carbon monoxide.
The gas emergency shut off solenoid valve is specially designed as gas pipe breaker for emergency use. It is connected with the gas leaking detector unit so that on-site or remote shut down of gas supply (manually or automatically) is possible, hence ensuring the safety with gas usage. The valve features auto-close when strong vibration is detected. After closing, manual operation is required to turn on the valve. This feature meets safety regulations in the event of an accident.
The product adheres to the highest level of quality requirements. The detector is CE certified and the valve adheres to Exmb II T4 explosion proof certifications.
